Fort Walton Beach 4th of July Celebration

The City of Fort Walton Beach is hosting its annual 4th of July Celebration at the Fort Walton Landing this Sunday, July 4th from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.  This family friendly, alcohol free event is free and open to the public.  Events at this year’s event include musical entertainment, patriotic themed games, dozens of exhibitors and vendors.  A children’s bicycle parade will begin at 6:45 p.m., and the fireworks display will start at 9:00 p.m.  For a list of exhibitors and vendors, log onto the City’s website, http://www.fwb.org/  and click on the 4th of July picture in the slideshow.



Also this year, the Fort Walton Beach Fire Department will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to Sharing and Caring of Fort Walton Beach.  Festival-goers are encouraged to bring items to the department’s Fire Safety House which will be set up near the restrooms at the north end of the park.
